Maria has been PAINTING the LAKE MUNGO river and inland Australia region for over twenty years. This region is located where Australian art all began with a simple idea of painting the magnificent indigenous Australian landscape and is fueled by a deep passion for outback Australia.

'After many trips to the Australian outback region (particularly the Willandra Lakes 450 miles from Sydney) we have a significant story to tell and share through Australian Art.

Inland Australia a 750,000 - year dry lake is linked to the ice age and is now a World Heritage Site. 

In 1968 geologists discovered the ritually buried remains of a Mungo Man 50-year-old male and a19-year-old Mungo women. This discovery changed Australian history forever"
